Canadian musician born November, 4 1970 in Montreal, Quebec. One of the founding members of Godspeed You Black Emperor!, he started A Silver Mt. Zion as a side project which led to a new band with its own character. Co-owner of the Hotel2Tango recording studio.

Joe DeNardo lives and works in New York City. He plays in the band GROWING. Since 2012 he has played music on his own and in collaboration as ORNAMENT, a project that incorporates volume, abstraction, and rhythms in both new and traditional ways. He has two cats.
