Toledo EP Release Show

TOLEDO is a Brooklyn based band led by lifelong friends and writing partners Daniel Alvarez de Toledo and Jordan Dunn-Pilz. What was originally conceived as a Bon-Iver influenced folk act, after years of fine tuning, the pair naturally gravitated towards more of the lofi indie pop sound heard in recent releases. Drawing inspiration from bands like Alvvays and Beach Fossils, Dan and Jordan still carry with them the singer-songwriter storytelling and acoustic sensibilities of the original TOLEDO vision.TOLEDO has quickly built a buzz for their fun, personable, and striking 5-piece live performances in and around New York City, including a sold out show at Mercury Lounge early this year. Audiences are often shocked to learn Dan and Jordan are only in their early 20s and the full band has only recently been assembled; the live sound is as tight as if they’ve been playing together for years. TOLEDO has already built a loyal following who have fallen in love with the laid-back yet assertive charisma of the two leads, and the well-beyond-their-years vocal and instrumental executions. Digitally, TOLEDO has recently gained the attention of the major streaming service’s editorial teams, earning spots on coveted playlists for each of their last 3 single releases -Spotify’s Fresh Finds (‘Qué Pasa?’) and All New Indie (‘Hot Stuff’), as well as Apple Music’s Indie + Chill (‘Bath’). Their debut EP will be released April 5, 2019.
