Bob Log III

Robert Logan Reynolds III, known as Bob Log III, (born December 3, 1969) is an American slide guitar one-man band. During performances, he plays old Silvertone archtop guitars, wears a full body human cannonball suit, and a motorcycle helmet wired to a telephone receiver, which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a blues punk guitar dance party.

GravelRoad: Psychedelta (Knick Knack)
Since the release of their last album (2008's Shot The Devil), this Seattle band has toured and recorded two albums with primal Mississippi blues artist T-Model Ford. Some of his raw energy might've rubbed off on them because they're now back with their third and strongest album to date, a hard-driving set of raw, gritty blues-rock steeped in Mississippi hill country blues, featuring a variety of rocked-up deep, primal blues songs combining rumbling electric guitar riffs and some sweet slide along with hypnotic rhythms and husky vocals. 3/30/2012 -Don Yates

Ghost Train Trio

Musically they reminded me of a cleaner version of Social Distortion. Guitarist/vocalist Patrick Mackinnon was great at growling and hootenanny yowling, but with a voice so clear I could make out every word of the provocative poetry he sang. Lots of twangy guitar licks were combined with the prowess of Joel Putzier on double bass and the often manic drumming of Bob Farwel.
