NYC pop band Bubble are celebrating 25 years of making music. Founding members Dave Foster, Russ Alderson, Tommy DeVito and newer members Rembert Block, Charly Roth and Mike Fornatale, are finishing Bubble’s latest album, recorded with Tony Maimone. They will also release a career spanning set of live tracks recorded in the studio at WFMU this year. 2019 is truly the Year of Bubble.
Jonathan Gregg Trio
Jonathan Gregg has been active on the NYC for many years, both as a bandleader/guitarist/songwriter and as a sideman. His former band, Jonathan Gregg & the Lonesome Debonaires, released three critically acclaimed CDs in the 90s, and his most recent band, the Linemen, broke the top 50 in the Americana charts in 2017 with their release, Close The Place Down. He has also performed and/or recorded on pedal steel with Jesse Malin, Cliff Westfall, Emily Duff, Mary Battiata, Eric Lindell and many others, and is a member of ambient country maestros and Northern Spy recording artists SUSS, who have racked up more than 7 million streams on Spotify.
