It didn’t take a record deal to get singer/ songwriter Troy Cartwright his start in country music–it took an acoustic guitar, age 12. Fast forward from childhood days in Dallas filled with Pete Yorn and John Prine records to his graduation from Berklee College of Music, where wedding band gigs and odd industry jobs squeezed between classes. A brief return to Texas yielded an EP and a stop in Oklahoma resulted in an independently released debut album that broke onto the radio charts in Cartwright’s home state. The project showcased his blend of warm music and exploratory lyrics, andRolling Stoned escribed his sound as having “an affinity for power country, idiosyncratic Seventies singer-songwriter fare and indie rock.”Early fans could find Cartwright cutting his teeth at upwards of 130 tour dates per year –all before securing a manager or an agent. Now having adopted Music City as his own, the up-and-coming recording artist found a home at Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville in 2018 and just introduced this next phase of his career with brand new tune“Hung Up On You.”He is currently on the road alongside Riley Green through the fall on the Outlaws Like Us tour.

Debut song 'You Are' has received over 250,000 streams since its release on 9/21. It was playlisted on AppleMusic's "Cool Country", Spotify's "New Boots" and Pandora's "Low Country" stations. Raised in Spencerville, Indiana. Produced by Grammy-award winning Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and more). Unique blend of alternative rock and highway country, Jordan creates a heartfelt, hard-edged sound that is all his own. Jordan currently lives in Nashville where he works as a songwriter and artist at Warehouse West Entertainment.
