Gabriel Birnbaum is a multi-instrumentalist and composer living in Brooklyn, New York. He has performed on stage and on record with artists such as Sharon Van Etten, Rodriguez, Jens Lekman and Lady Lamb the Beekeeper at venues like Lincoln Center, the Bonnaroo Music Festival, the Kennedy Center, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and the Ojai Music Festival. He is a full time member of the Ethiopian pop ensemble Debo Band, whose Sub Pop debut was one of NPR's 50 best albums of 2012, and the cosmic Americana of Wilder Maker, lauded by Stereogum, CMJ, Paste and many many more, is the latest in a series of vessels for his own writing. In 2015 he launched Genius Loci, the first in a series of curatorial projects, and was selected as an artist in residence at both the ISLAND Hill House and Wildacres Retreat.
Office Culture is a pop band from NYC (Winston, Charlie, Pat, Ian). The songs are about going to and from work. Their debut LP, 'I Did the Best I Could' was released in June 2017. They are currently working on their sophomore LP.
