Harold López-Nussa Duo

With fellow artists Gaston Joya and Ruy Adrían López-Nussa, Harold's tight-knit trio captivates audiences with a relentless vivaciousness that "bridges generations and genres" according to Billboard Magazine. His music reflects the full range and richness of Cuban music, with its distinctive combination of classical, folkloric and popular elements, as well as its embrace of jazz improvisation.

Un Diá Cualquiera (Just Another Day), López-Nussa’s second release on Mack Avenue Records, has received tremendous praise from fans and critics alike. Within two days of release, it was The Most Added on Jazz and College Radio in the U.S.

In hosting Harold, The Temporary joins esteemed venues like The Kennedy Center and The SFJAZZ Center, as well as the most acclaimed jazz festivals in the world—Newport, Monterey, North Sea and Detroit—making Harold one of the most in-demand jazz pianists in the world today. NPR’s Tiny Desk has taken notice, scheduling a fall performance with the trio at their studio in Washington.
