The name is Curtis Jr. (A.K.A Tom Curtis Jr.), A singer/Song writer born in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Curtis Jr. began teaching himself music at the age of 14 and started writing his own material a year later. After jamming along with a band for a couple of years, Curtis jumped on the crazy train and went solo.
Pushing harder then ever, Curtis Jr. began writing more, performing all over the area including Philadelphia, Delaware, and New York, and also started hitting the studios. After bursting through demo track after demo track, the 6 song EP titled "Lie To Me" was released, January 8th, 2010. Tracks off the EP such as "The Stars", "Lie To Me", and "So Much" can be heard on 93.7 WSTW. Live sessions on 93.7 and other local radio stations were broadcasted around the time of the release as well.
After performing dozens of shows following the release of "Lie To Me", new material was forming from Curtis' catalog over the year and it wasn't slowing down. Recording started once again in the Spring of 2011 when Tom Curtis Jr. and Dean McKenna met for the first time and took off. Curtis Jr.'s newest single " Passion " was released July 30th, 2011 at a Support and Hope Benefit Show for a critical illness known as R.S.D. You can visit (http://www.RSDSupportandHope.org/) for more information.
In 2012, Curtis Jr. met and started working with Bill McLaughlin, Drummer of R3 for the last decade, and Peter Massaro, Very highly acclaimed guitarist in multiple states, as the official start to the group, "Curtis Jr.". New material was created and performed live at locations such as Love Park, The Note, Dobbs, Dave & Buster's, and other local venues. Now that 2013 has rolled in and out, things have grown much more serious for the group with many more shows, many more songs, and many more exciting plans. Rob Shaffer, Producer/ Guitarist/ Bassist of the "Lie To Me EP" of 2010, has jumped back in the group as front guitar man shredding things up as usual.
Curtis Jr. is very excited for the new year. Solid band, Bigger shows, Traveling, and the New Debut Album! Things are gonna get real around here with these guys so stick around for the show, spread the word, and GET HAPPY!
Formed in early 2014, 46REASONS is an acoustic/electric group focused on rock with a side of soul. Spearheaded by the song writing and vocal stylings of Caleb Wahrenberger and the guitar leads and song writing of Ronnie Howell, 46REASONS is just getting things started and is currently recording its first album.
The Quixote Project
The Quixote Project is a neo-roots music outfit. From Rock to Rockabilly, Bluegrass to Blues we like to pull from traditional genres to blur the fine lines of modern music. "Frontman Jeff Selby and a revolving cast of musicians have distilled the multi-genre sounds of a beachfront music festival into a remarkably cohesive live set, with hints of bluegrass, folk, and rock in a style that would be pigeonholed as “jam” if the songwriting wasn’t so explicitly pop-oriented" says Dave Fox of MUSIC WITHOUT LABELS. We recently released our new album "BONE SHAKER" and are currently touring to support it. Most recently we were nominated as "NJ Indie Band Of The Year" by Tri State Indie, and our song "Tread Easy" was nominated for "Best Folk Song" by 93.7FM Hometown Heroes at the 9th annual Homey Awards.
