Elizabeth Hunter is a young recording artist based in NYC. Leading her band "the Gatherers" on electric bass, she brings her audience back to early Motown songwriting, with an updated Amy Winehouse-esc turn. Catch her monthly at the Shrine in Harlem, as well as Rockwood Music Hall, the Bitter End, Bowery Electric, and other hot NYC venues.
She is currently a finalist on Fox 5's "New York Star of the Day" with Ernie Anastos and Bernie Williams. And has a self titled EP "Elizabeth Hunter" available on iTunes and Spotify.
She is in the process of recording 6 singles with accompanying music videos available on Vevo and to be released to vinyl this fall.
