Hungry On Monday

Hungry on Monday is an alternative pop-rock group currently based in northern Virginia.

Formed in 2015 as a side project, founding members Noah Poncin, Aidan Bruecken and Nathan Dahlman quickly realized that they had potential to become much more than a garage band.

As momentum began to pick up in October of 2016, they recruited long-time friend Michael Preston to play bass. Not long after that they hit the studio. Their debut self-titled EP, recorded at M80 Studio in their hometown of Purcellville, Virginia, received massive praise for its intricate blend of rock, jazz, pop, alternative, and funk.

After its release, the band started to play non-stop in the D.C. / Baltimore metropolitan area at venues such as Jammin Java, The Pinch, Tally Ho and Treehouse Lounge. During the winter of 2016, they added pianist Ted Gallegos to the lineup as a surprise for several shows in their hometown during the stretch of Gallegos' college break.

The band continued to play in their hometown and adjacent regions with Gallegos as a permanent addition to the Hungry on Monday family. In June of 2017, after the passing of their beloved friend and producer, they began recording their second EP - Hideaway.
