The Foresters (Album Release)

A Bethany, CT - and now, with the lead singer gone off to college, Purchase, NY -based indie rock band consisting of three brothers and assorted friends. Two full-length albums include Sun Songs and House Stories. With manic kinetic energy and an ear for blending psychedelic garage and pop riffs, the Foresters put out songs that the Hartford Courant calls “nostalgic and big hearted.” CT Scramble Contributor Dan Verner points out what fans sense, “the inherent respect for each other within each performance, each instrument,” and the songwriting brought front and center.

These young musicians have opened for Apples in Stereo at the Athens Popfest. One by one they’re going, going, gone, so catch them all together while you can.

Formed in 2014 and relentlessly touring around New England, Mystic Seahorse has become a favorite in the Punk/Alternative scene. Fusing punk, metal, thrash and good old classic rock, Mystic Seahorse creates an all new fresh take on hard rock, leaning on a punk sensibility that just doesn’t wanna grow up!

Julia Davis

Out of Hartford, Julia Davis has recently jumped into the singer/songwriter scene, with a performance resume that already includes WAPJ’s The Hot Spot!, Infinity Music Hall and Bistro, and Monsters of Acoustic Rock at Sage Sound Studios (formerly White House Productions).
