Killer Dwarfs

Killer Dwarfs were a Canadian heavy metal band who formed in late 1981 in Oshawa, Ontario, and who enjoyed moderate success in their native Canada in the 1980s.
They were known for their offbeat sense of humor (all band members adopted the surname "Dwarf").

Although the band disbanded in 1995, they reunited in 2001 for a tour and subsequent live cd.
They are currently on hiatus.

Lethbridge, AB. - Two of Canada’s best heavy metal rock music groups from the 80’s are coming to Average Joe’s on Thursday June 14th.  Kick Axe’s debut album, Vices, went Gold in Canada.  They produced 3 more albums in the 1980’s and toured extensively opening for the likes of Metallica and Rush.  The band disbanded 20 years ago but has re-united recently and has released a new album.  This is a great chance to see Kick Axe on their revival tour.

The second group to take the stage is another Canadian heavy metal group from the 1980’s, Killer Dwarfs.  The Dwarfs were nominated for 2 Juno Awards, released 3 albums and toured extensively in Canada and the USA.  They split up for a number of years, but are back performing now with their same great energy and sound.  The Killer Dwarfs have a new album coming out in the spring of 2018, titled “No Guff”.
