Ancient River, Taylor Hollingsworth Country Western, Results of Adults, Probably the Tornado

Psych Rock / Shoegaze from Austin TX

Reverb soaked rock’n roll!

“Hearing Ancient River‘s lush, expansive sound, it’s hard to imagine that it’s just two guys. Starting out as the bedroom brainchild of lead singer James Barreto, the Gainesville duo are getting ready to release their newest album Keeper of the Dawn. Taking cues from contemporaries like Temples and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, new single “This Is The Time” finds the duo in a magical haze. Washed-out drums and fuzz pedals do the trick, but the ringing reverb on Barreto’s rhythm guitar really gives the song shape.”

Taylor Hollingsworth Country Western

Taylor Hollingsworth Country Western
Folk Art Blues Rock from Birmingham, AL

The name "Taylor Hollingsworth Country Western", should really be thought of as Taylor Hollingsworth + Country Western rather than Taylor Hollingsworth playing Country Western Music. Named for the beat that carries all the songs they play, "The Train Beat", (Made famous by Country Singers such as Johnny Cash), Taylor and drummer leave the drum sticks and the guitar picks on the playground and take their electric finger picking jams to the hill country juke joint, only this juke might be in another galaxy. The duo has been entertaining crowds of all ages, shapes, and sizes throughout the southeast.
