American singer-songwriter born September 8, 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia
Tanya Tagaq (1977, Iqaluktuutiaq, Victoria Island, Nunavut, Canada) is an Inuit throat singer.
At the age of 15, Tagaq Gillis went to Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories to attend high school where she first began to practice throat singing. She later studied visual arts at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University where she developed her own solo form of throat singing, traditionally performed by two or more singers.
She has collaborated with Björk, Kronos Quartet, Mike Patton, Buck 65 or Shooglenifty.
Her two surnames comes from her mother (Tategak) and her father (Gillis).

All Ticket holders must show ID at the gate. Ticket is non-refundable and once exchanged for a wristband it is non-transferable.
The show will go on rain or shine, but may be shortened or cancelled in the case of extreme weather, which includes excessive lightning and/or high winds.
Please do not bring pets, alcohol, drugs or weapons. Just bring an open heart, dancing shoes, a blanket or a low-riding chair and a bit of cash for treats. Have a good time!
