Eskimo Kisses (Mikaiah Lei) was born June 21, 1993 in Bellflower, California, USA. Eskimo Kisses is experimental electronica solo artist and also the other half of the rock duo THE BOTS. Performing music in several genres such as indie, bedroom pop, electronic, dub, noise and ambient theres something for everyone.
Comprised of Dugan Cruz (Vocals/Guitar) and Sam Sobo (Drums/Engineer), the band released their debut EP in June 2013, which was recorded by Grammy Award winning producer Matt Hyde (No Doubt, Jonny Lang). The EP showcased an aggressive sound tempered with soulfulness and occasional melancholy. After releasing their second EP, "All the Way" in Spring 2015 they received national radio play and charted in the top 20 of the specialty radio charts. The band has been touring in support of the release and is now working with producer Noah Shain on new music.
Madus also had songs placed in several films and TV shows such as, CBS's NCIS: LA, award-winning documentary H2Indo, and one of Stone Brewing CO's Holiday videos.
Groovy, mournful, Gaussian blurred, surf gaze from Los Angeles.
Lovely Sand Dunes
Lovely Sand Dunes Started last year in April, a couple months after lead singer Claire French and guitar player Anthony Zelaya met at a Halloween party. They started recording demos after discovering their similar interest in The Doors, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Dylan, Queens of the Stone Age ETC. Since the release of their first album “Dep Ved” last October, they have embarked in writing new songs and have recently added a drummer Gavin Ortiz who is expected to play in the next Album and future shows.
