Described by NPR Music as joyous folk pop, Kuinka "laces modern folk and Americana with an electronic jolt, waltzing along the grooved edges of dream-pop, synth-pop, and Brooklyn’s mid-aughts guitar-rock revival" (Vanyaland). Their genre-defying music features several different lead singers, four-part harmony, and eclectic instrumentation including cello, banjo, synthesizers, ukulele and electronic percussion. For all of their sonic experimentation, the Seattle quartet's songs and live shows are linked by an infectious energy that remains present in everything they do. Their new EP Stay Up Late is available now on Spotify, iTunes, and at www.kuinkatheband.com.

Edison—singer/guitarist Sarah Slaton, drummer/vocalist/trumpeter/mandolinist Dustin Morris, and Grammy nominated guitarist Maxwell Hughes (formerly of The Lumineers)—is a dynamic acoustic trio from Colorado which has quickly emerged as a unique musical force. Edison's liltingly melodic, emotionally resonant songs are filled with vivid storytelling, playful harmonies, and irresistible hooks. Although they've only been a band since 2014, they've already built a substantial national fan base, thanks to the their upbeat, high-energy live shows and tireless touring efforts. In addition to countless club gigs, they've earned attention at such music-industry conferences as SXSW, CMJ and Folk Alliance International.

Tyto Alba was formed in 2014 around the talents of singer/songwriter/guitarist Melanie Steinway, guitarist Matt Rossi, bassist Ryan Self, and drummer Jeremy Van Zandt. Emotional, dynamic and provocative, the band draws upon modern acts like Death Cab for Cutie, The Jungle Giants and Local Natives. Steinway and Self previously played together in Steinway's folk-rock outfit Howl Moonshine Howl, while Rossi and Van Zandt performed in Rossi's rock band Umbrella Weather. Upon the merging of these two relationships, the synergy was immediately apparent. Steinway's softer fingerpicking folk background interweaves with Rossi's rambunctious jazz/rock style for a unique guitarist dynamic laced with vocal harmonies. When Tyto Alba performed their first show, audience members were shocked that it was their first live performance due to their natural on-stage chemistry and evident connection. By daytime, Steinway is an illustrator, designer and tattooist, lending her artistic skills to every aspect of the band from their gig posters to the EP design. Much of the band's aesthetic, visually and musically, draws from Steinway's love of animals and nature, no doubt a product of her Colorado upbringing. Four contrasting musical backgrounds come together in this energetic new Denver indie-rock band as they propel themselves head-first into the eclectic Colorado music scene.

Tyto Alba is pleased to announce that they have released their debut five track EP titled 'Oh Tame One' on March 6th. The EP is a proud collaborative effort of local musicians, with the recording and mixing done by Noah Simons of post-punk band Male Blonding. The EP was self-released and is available on Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify."
