Called “one of the finest singers and musicians anywhere in folkdom” (Boston Globe) and "one of the finest interpretive artists on the contemporary folk scene” (Montreal Gazette), Tracy Grammer is among folk music's most beloved performers. Renowned for her pure voice, deft guitar work, and incantatory storytelling, she got her start in the late 1990’s in a duo with the late Dave Carter and has since toured with Joan Baez, recorded with Mary Chapin Carpenter, and enjoyed 12 consecutive years as one of folk radio's 50 top-played artists. Her new release, LOW TIDE (2018, Tracy Grammer Music), is her long-awaited eleventh recording and the first ever to feature her original songs.
“Potent songcraft that reflects the tender and stubborn heart that got her here, and a way with words and images that … marks the beginning of a new path to glory. A bold and beautiful collection.” — coverlaydown.com
“A musician and singer of dazzling versatility.” — No Depression
“A brilliant artist.” — Joan Baez
