Kovalent is a progressive rock band from Muskogee Ok. The band was formed by bassist Travis Cates and Vocalist Tim Moore of the Tulsa based heavy metal band, No Void in 2016 as an acoustic duo playing rock and metal cover tunes with an acoustic twist. After some success playing the local club scene, John Paul Cates joined the band on percussion and the trio began writing songs. As the music started to flow, the band quickly realized the direction was changing from an acoustic project to a full band production and in early 2017, Ralph Ayers was added to the line-up on lead guitar. Immediately, work began on their first studio recording, a six track EP called Legends. Legends was released online August 15th and has quickly gained traction. The album has been picked up by numerous online radio stations and was reviewed by UK music magazine, “Fireworks”. Recently, Kovalent was nominated for a Tulsa local music award in the category of best home away from home group. Currently the band is playing the local circuit in Tulsa and plans are being made for a small tour in support of their album.

Radio X

Radio X, one of Oklahoma’s hottest new rock cover bands, began in June of 2012 with the idea of two brothers wanting to jam. Sam and Mikey Schaper, jamming a couple of acoustics in the basement of their parents house, had the crazy idea of bringing familiar high energy party tunes to the people of Northeast Oklahoma. Sam and Mikey drew on the experience of Jay Wilson on drums, Gary Key on bass, and Kenny Pocock on keyboards to solidify the line-up, and are currently booking shows at a club near you. What can you expect from a Radio X show?... High energy, great musicianship, great harmonies, professionalism, and a party you’ll never forget!!

Let Slip The Dogs

A new chapter is beginning and a band has come together, hell-bent on shattering everything you know about Oklahoma metal. Let Slip the Dogs draws from each member's decades of musical experiences and influences from across the musical spectrum and forges it into their own vision of heavy music. All three members are heavily rooted in the Oklahoma music scene with 20+ years of live experience each. Guitarist/Vocalist - Bryan Parker (formerly of Bait and David Castro Band), Bassist/Vocalist - Travis Inselman (13 Cent Kill and David Castro Band), and Drummer/Vocalist – Kenny VanWinkle (formerly of Badroot and The Kevorkian’s) take a “nothing is off limits” approach to their songwriting, calling on elements of jazz, fusion, improvisation, and more in order to create their unique metal sound.

Recently “unleashed” on the live scene, Let Slip the Dogs is coming soon to a venue near you!

Some of the band's influences include Black Sabbath, Clutch, Tool, Alice In Chains, Deftones, King's X, Avenged Sevenfold, Devin Townsend Project, Pink Floyd, and Lionize.
