Charlie Abbott is no stranger to a variety of genres spanning from singer/songwriter to indie this-and-that. But always following close behind was the one in which has always needed him as much as he needed it. It was the music he always could fall blissfully into yet had to wait for the right time.
His move from one of Wisconsin's 72 counties to Nashville was accompanied by that special something pinching onto his shirt tail--using this as a way to not be separated from him. For rock and roll knew that one day it would have its day with Charlie Abbott. After writing his 2017 EP "Technicolor Dream" he grabbed a hold of his shimmery garage rock and let the entirety of rock and roll devour him barefoot first.
Leading up to this point were all moments and situations Charlie had to go through to be where he is now. That is a cliche, vague statement and possibly straight from a spiritual self-help book from the 2010's but nevertheless true. Once he arrived in Nashville he hit the ground running on those barefeet mentioned earlier. He's played with several bands such as, but not limited to Oliver James Rogers (OJR), Boom Forest and Bad Cop as well as writing his own slew of songs. Charlie has also had his songs placed on television shows such as Showtime's "Shameless" and NBC's "Scorpion".
From National radio play to playing Nashville's most popular venues Charlie Abbott will share the weight of rock and roll's clenches with you all. "Y'all" if you will
