The jazz duo of Stacey and Alan Schulman have been performing in the New York City area since 2005. A jazz vocal stylist, Stacey Schulman is a native of the New York City area, performing in a variety of musical and theatrical roles since the age of nine. As an NYC studio singer, Stacey has had the privilege of singing on tracks for radio commercials, television series and for artists like Chaka Khan. She counts her influences from the Great American Songbook and the Harlem Renaissance as well as the Bossa Nova and Samba movements of Brazil. Alan Schulman is a noted jazz guitarist from Cincinnati, Ohio who studied with the late great guitarist Cal Collins (formerly of the Benny Goodman Orchestra). Alan holds a Masters degree in Jazz Arranging & Composition from Howard University in Washington DC and has appeared with such noted jazz artists as Anita Baker, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis & Michael Feinstein.
Together, Alan & Stacey’s debut release “A Love like Ours” was recorded and produced by the couple in Italy and released by ‘Night Night the Elephant’ Productions.
