minibosses play the music of old Nintendo games - pieces from Super Mario Brothers, Castlevania, Contra, Metroid, and more!

Long regarded as the grandfathers of video game music bands, minibosses are about to celebrate their 20th year as a band in 2019. So does that mean a bunch of young 20 year olds playing 10 year old music have become cranky 40 year olds playing 30 year old music? NO. well, SORT OF.

12 year old Jacob Dueck and 10 year old Owen Dueck have joined the band under the tutelage of their father, minibosses drummer Steve. For the first time since 2007, the average age of minibosses is UNDER 30.

minibosses have also started playing more shows under their alter ego loungeybosses - video game music played in a jazz or lounge setting, much better suited for restaurants and weddings. this crescent show will be mostly loud, but there may be a quieter song or two.

minibosses have played shows with queens of the stone age, jimmy eat world, ajj, future of the left, local h, and many more.
