The Aquaducks have been making waves in and around Music City as a high octane funk and soul band with a live energy that is rarely matched. The Ducks' first two singles "Nightlife" and "Bill's Toupée" immediately caught the attention of local radio station Lighting 100, and have continued to receive regular air play. Described by Brooklyn, NY blog Pancakes and Whiskey as "Dripping with enough funk to fill several swimming pools," The Aquaducks have created a new sound with influences ranging from Earth Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder to Lettuce and James Brown.
The Fall of 2016 has seen The Aquaducks' song "What's Goodington" featured the movie trailer for "Baked in Brooklyn" as well as the release of their debut full length live album "Live at the Beast." Fans new and old are now able to experience the high energy show that has critics calling them "probably one of the best duck-themed funk bands of all time." In the meantime, if The Aquaducks are playing in your town, put on some dancing shoes and go see one of the best live bands that Nashville has to offer.
Zagriculture is a Denver, Colorado based band whose sound is influenced by funk, rock, jazz and jam music. The band formed in May of 2012 originally consisting of Roni Zagoria on keys and lead vocals, Josh Smith on bass, and Craig Hoggatt on drums. Joe Zimmet later joined the band bringing his considerable trumpet skills to round out the sound. Most recently, the addition of guitarist Joel Cheney and Joe Lilly on saxophone has even furthermore contributed to the group's dynamic. Zagriculture has been steadily gigging around Denver, surprising crowds and winning fans as well as gaining support from venues and fellow musicians.
Digg is a unique and progressive fusion of rock, blues, funk, and jazz, blending styles to create a diverse, yet cohesive sound in their quickly growing catalog of original music. Inspired and personal song writing, well chosen, well executed covers, and great musicianship come together into a high energy live performance that leaves audiences needing more. The band's wide range of appeal brings together fans of all different types of music, resulting in a steadily and quickly growing Digg family.
Entering their second year of performing, Digg continues to add to their original and covered repertoire, honing their live performance into a memorable experience.
