Afternoon Men, Patrick Duffy Band, Cici Fields

Afternoon Men

Afternoon Men is a five-piece, New York-based rock band. Their songs cycle through a range of styles you might find on a jukebox—Sinatra to Springsteen, bar rock to electro-pop—but these influences are as much a narrative force as a part of their sound. Overarching stories link one song to the next, featuring a reappearing cast of characters whose taste in music plays the starring role in how they kill their time.

The band consisting of brothers Patrick (lead guitar and vocals), Thomas (bass and backing vocals) with accomplished percussionist and rock drummer Adam Forman, deliver a rock jam band style with traditional lyrics and song writing. Patrick grew up in South Salem, NY listening to 70's classic rock, New Wave, 80's pop, the Grateful Dead and Phish. Under the influence of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Trey Anastasio, and Derek Trucks, Patrick puts it all into the cement mixer and spits out dangerous guitar playing and vocals which will make you feel like he started playing in the womb.

Emma fields is a singer songwriter playing what she wants. The funk-rock feel of her debut project, Cold River City, is present in her sad-soul and bittersweet-blues. With songs that will keep you swaying from folk r&b back to bubblegum punk; it really just depends when in the world you find her.
