The Sherlocks are a British alternative/indie, band from Bolton upon Dearne. There are 4 members made up of 2 sets of brothers. Inspired by Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis their music is anthemic, catchy and big, they have played Reading and Leeds festival for the last 3 years in a row, supported Kings of Leon and played Glastonbury Festival 2017.
2017 has proven to be a great year for the band. In August 2017 they released their debut album “Live for the Moment”, which charted #6 in the UK official charts, it was the biggest selling debut album of any band this year.
The Sherlocks recently travelled to the U.S. & Canada for their first headline tour. While out in the US the band received support from Brooklyn Magazine and SiriusXFM.
In the New Year The Sherlocks are kicking off by heading out to Japan to play Daikanyama Space Odd. Followed by a huge headline tour in the UK in February, then hitting Europe where they will be supporting no other than Liam Gallagher.
If 'Is This It' and 'Sound of Silver' were bread slices, the four guys in Loose Buttons became real people-ish in about the salami part of the equation. A troupe of native New Yorkers (well we actually feel bad lying to you, one of us is from Connecticut), the quartet were struck by the energy buzzing around The Big Apple at some point in their early adolescent years and channeled that inspiration into strumming the guitar/plucking the bass/banging the drumset…blah, blah, blah, typical band bio stuff.
Either way, we've been together for a couple of years and have played around New York City and Miami a lot. Three of us went to college in Miami to pursue careers as dubstep DJs but eventually returned to our roots of indie rock and roll. So here we are. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.
