Harbor Rock Fest

Smantx is an Indie rock band originating from Baltimore. The group consists of Kyle Wesley (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Chris Dennard (lead guitar), Keni Luck (bass), and Eric Smith (drums). Having played on the most well-known stages in Baltimore, alongside artists that have more fame, Smantx and their music have created their own lane which is why they are rapidly creating a name for themselves. In a short time, they have become one of the most in-demand bands in Baltimore. As one fan put it, “Their music has this thing I can’t quite put my finger on, but I know I like it. It’s almost too good to listen to!”. After playing the song “The Wild” on their radio station and referencing a Smantx performance they had recently seen, the on-air personality at ClearChannel stated that the performance was, “phenomenal….Just hook after hook, after hook!” It’s not surprising that the band is experiencing an increase in fan attendance and organic social media following.
The Smantx story is one that includes harmful and life-altering health issues, drug addiction, depression, loss; even death, as well as all the other common issues that plague most bands. The beauty of their story is the tremendous belief in themselves to be able to overcome the odds and follow their dream. All of which, by the way, have been placed firmly within the music they’ve created.

Cyber Strike

Cyber Strike was formed by vocalist/guitarist Dave Diamond in the summer of 2009. Dave's main objective and vision with Cyber Strike is to create hard and heavy music with original riffs, razor sharp leads, with a progressive and melodic feel. Influences ranging from Megadeth, Metallica, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden can be heard within his songwriting along with his own particular brand of modern day riffage. Along with Dave’s dark and sometimes introspective lyrics, Cyber Strike’s music has proven to have a natural draw. Cyber Strike has played many shows and along the way has garnered the love and mutual respect from fellow musicians and fans alike. Front-man Dave Diamond says ” I’ve always wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself, that not only made me feel accepted, but also made people happy. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by people who understand that and still support this idea.”
Dave recently “officially” added the talents of long-time friend and collaborator, Leon Sohail (guitars), and even more recent, the very talented rhythm section of brothers, Dan (drums) and Jack Hunt (bass). Cyber Strike is looking to make a significant mark in the world of music and is looking to have a very productive summer and rest of 2017 with their sights set on an even more successful and productive 2018.
