Annachristie, Good Witch, Twin Oaks, Sikemor

Annachristie has a soulful huskiness and power that could break glass. Her compelling songwriting style lends itself to an emotionally evocative experience for her listeners time and time again. Annachristie explores new measures of Folk and Americana by marrying the genres with styles more grunge, dreamlike, and enduring- reminiscent to the rawness and unabashedness brought to light by many of our favorite music rebels of the 90’s. With this, Annachristie Sapphire create a sense of nostalgia even for those who might be hearing her music for the first time.

Annachristie has shared the stage with household favorites such as First Aid Kit, Amos Lee, and Langhorne Slim.

Good Witch songs break hearts and light fires, conjuring up shades of PJ Harvey and Garbage, with some mystical inspiration from Slowdive and Rhye. Slinky bass, anthemic drums, distorted guitars, shimmery synthesizers, and cinematic strings come together in singable indie rock jams that are by turns aggressive, vulnerable, sad, and sexy, but always, always fearlessly honest.

Twin Oaks is a Los Angeles-based band formed by Lauren Brown and Aaron Domingo. Spending their early days as a bedroom folk act in 2011, Twin Oaks began as an acoustic outlet for Aaron before pitching his songs to Lauren to sing as backing vocalist. Brown's vocals began to better suit the songs and singing roles switched, allowing Domingo to focus primarily on instrumentation. The duo gained local and UK attention from Amazing Radio with their title track from the self-released Not An Exit EP in November 2012 and quickly began work on their follow-up The Lion's Den EP, released in January 2014. The EP's lead single Find a Way was a hit among the band's early fanbase and was featured on Amazing Radio's Simon Raymonde radio show as well as a #1 spot on the Amazing Radio Top 40 for 3 weeks.

After a brief stint of local shows, the band went into recording at the famous Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles and self-released the debut full-length White Noise on October 2015 with the lead single Animal, showcasing a much larger sound of ethereal electric guitars and energetic drums to accompany Brown's delicate vocals. During the Fall of 2016, the duo went back into recording at Aaron's home studio east of Los Angeles and teamed up with Grammy Award-Winning engineer Cassidy Turbin (Beck, Bat for Lashes, Thurston Moore) to helm mixing and post-production duties for the upcoming Collapse EP.

The band released Collapse on June 2017 and were later joined by Marilyn Beltran (drums) and Aroldo Rios (bass, keys) to complete the band's live performances.

Sikemor is an indie band based out of Los Angeles that was formed in 2012 by siblings Rafael, Gabe and Fiona Cansino.

Strong roots in classical music and a folk sensibility influence Sikemor’s unique sound. Characterized by layers of dreamy harmonies, soaring melodies and expansive, rhythmic guitar lines, their music draws inspiration from Radiohead, Bon Iver and Local Natives.

Sikemor has played at venues in LA, such as Hotel Cafe, Silverlake Lounge, Villain’s Tavern and The Mint. Their debut EP, Paperweight, recorded at Grandmaster Recorders and produced by Mike Post, was released independently in June, 2016.

Currently working on new material with recent additions, David Leavitt (drums) and Ben Klein (bass), Sikemor looks forward to recording their first LP in 2017.
