Ed Schrader's Music Beat

Ed Schrader's Music Beat

Ed Schrader's Music Beat are proud to release their new album, Riddles, on Carpark Records this spring. In search of a fresh direction, Ed and Devlin invited their close friend Dan Deacon to help them realize their dream of a fuller, layered sound as the album’s producer, arranger, and co-writer.

Working steadily in Dan’s studio for two years in total collaboration, three evolving musicians pushed through an intense period of personal tumult and found purpose in the sounds they were committing to record. The result: a polished and passionate masterpiece of nuanced alt-rock. From driving opening track “Dunce” and the soaring single “Riddles” to the disarmingly gorgeous closer “Culebra,” Ed and Devlin unapologetically channel a personal pantheon of pop and rock gods while growing into the band—and people—they’d previously kept caged inside.

Kreamy 'Lectric Santa

For over a quarter of a century Kreamy 'Lectric Santa or K'LS has forged a twisted assault creating music of greatly juxtaposing genres Psychedelia, Experimental, Spastic Punk, Bubblegum, free noise, sound collage, Metal and too many others to mention. formed in the early 90s in Miami and a major part of both the noise and punk scene, K'LS helped in solidifying Churchill's Hideaway as what some consider to be the CBGBs of the south-with bands such as Harry Pussy, Cavity, The Stun Gunz and Morbid Opera. In 1998 the band moved to Atlanta Ga. to where Priya Ray (violinist, vocalist) accidentally fell from a loft adjoining a 1/2 pipe and sustained a life altering spinal injury. The band went thru a long hiatus during which time bassist Andrew Powell passed away. Robert and Priya relocated to the West Coast for 9 years and are currently living in Asheville NC they have released several 7's an LP/CD on Starcleaner Records a split cassette with Awott on Serbian label "No basement is deep enough" and a split 7' with Bobby Joe Ebola and the children Macnuggits on Chattanooga record store/label Mayfields all killer no filler. A collaborative instrumental release 'Sickly sweet' is in the works as well as a new full length LP
