With the advent of color, the fantastic sets and special effects were something no one had seen before, bringing a whole new kind of life to Frank L. Baum's beloved story. To this day the characters and look of the film is still eye popping and rather astounding. Judy Garland's original rendition of "Over the Rainbow" lives in everyone's hearts as one of the most memorable songs of all time. No one can deny that this film is a true classic.
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
