Cascade Crescendo, from Portland, Oregon has been crafting their own brand of bluegrass since 2013. Pulling from their vast range of collective influences, they play original, high-energy bluegrass, jamgrass, and Americana music.
Since releasing their debut album "Caught in the Rain" in Spring 2016, Cascade Crescendo has been gaining steam, quickly winning over fans across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. They performed at the 2016 and 2017 Northwest String Summit and have teamed up with national touring bands including Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Kitchen Dwellers, Hot Buttered Rum, Front Country, Vince Herman, Danny Barnes, Henhouse Prowlers and more at venues including the Crystal Ballroom, Star Theater, Doug Fir Lounge, and Mississippi Studios in Portland, and Seattle's Nectar Lounge!
They completed two national tours in 2017 including shows in 15 states including Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana, becoming crowd favorites across the country. They have big tour and festival plans and a second studio album on the horizon in 2018!
Beer Fine is “Portland’s Newest Not Really Bluegrass Bluegrass Band” and consists of Brad Parsons (The Bellboys, Brad Parsons Band), Mimi Naja (Fruition), Harrison Olk (Cascade Crescendo) and Julio Appling (Ben Larson Trio, Student Loan String Band).
