My Body cooks up a unique blend of R&B, pop and skittering electronics for a collaged sound that is all their own. Originally from Oregon, members Jordan Bagnall and Darren Bridenbeck made the leap to New York nearly three years ago and haven't looked back. They've since won Nylon Magazine's national Project Aloft Star contest and have shared stages with Haim, Elliphant and Typhoon. Full of attitude, defiance and vulnerability, My Body's songs wind their way through both darkness and jubilation.

After months of releasing singles and building a thriving new york following, 'six wives' is my body’s first fully realized ep. These multilayered, danceable songs double as heart-felt and introspective verse—verse that, like all great pop music, reveals a universal, emotional landscape. “I’ve been a baby since the day i was born” indeed.
The EP was released 5/5/15 via Bug Hunt, kid-sister label to Portland, Oregon's own Tender Loving Empire.
What started as drum lessons over ten years ago between longtime partners Shana Lindbeck & Papi Fimbres, they never thought their musical careers would culminate to this point of being a two piece dance/club cumbia infused/kraut band. Being in Orquestra Pacifico Tropical together since its inception, these two have definitely honed in their sound & musical prowess with their new band, Dreckig.
Mini Blinds has been compared to a dreamier version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Formed as a duo in Portland, OR in late 2015. Both Beth Ann Dear (Appendixes) and Devin Welch (Blood Brothers, Shoplifting, Past Lives, Appendixes) have been playing music in the Pacific Northwest in some form for most of their lives. Drawing influences from the 90s female fronted alt-rock, 80s British twee & shoegaze, the Paisley Underground, and K records, they have created a sound with many layers and a common thread. In 2016 they released their first 8 song album “Air Signs”. The songs were bouncy and minimal, held together by layers of analog drum machines. In September 2018 the group released their EP ‘Dust’. It has been said to be a “reintroduction” and a new evolution in the sound of the band. Their sound has become much more dreamy and slightly more melancholy and eerie on their sophomore release. They have already began writing another collection of songs in hopes to release it sometime in late 2019.
Mini Blinds has went on multiple Pacific Northwest tours and plan to do a California and Southwest tour in Spring of 2019. As far as notable shows go they a have played PDXPop, Spokane’s VolumeFest Homiefest, Mississippi Street Fair and with noteworthy bands such as Chastity Belt, Diet Cig, Lisa Prank, Mint Field and Naomi Punk.
