Harold Ray & East Side Dynamite

Florida to Oakland transplant Harold Ray, aka Jason Morgan is an American soul-singer/performer. Equal parts master showman and work-a-day hero, Harold Ray gained local-fame in his early bands Harold Ray Live in Concert, Eastbay Grease and Total BS. His current list of rock-and-roll hot shots, East Side Dynamite are determined to light the fuse to the grooves, and a blasting cap for your moves.

The Bye Bye Blackbirds

For nearly 10 years The Bye Bye Blackbirds have been standard bearers for guitar-based power pop in the Bay Area. An explosive live act and a dedication to smart, sophisticated songwriting have earned them a loyal following, along with comparisons to Sloan, The Replacements, Big Star, and The Kinks. Two previous full-length albums (2008's House & Homes and 2011's Fixed Hearts) established their credentials as lyrically rich and sophisticated, armed with infectious hooks and harmonies and lush guitar playing. As a live band, the energetic and gritty performances have won over audiences at venues like The Great American Music Hall, the Café Du Nord, and The Bottom of the Hill. The new album, We Need The Rain, marries the studio and live experiences into a fully realized, seamless whole. Bun E. Carlos (of Cheap Trick) calls it "Power Pop at its finest".

The Saucy Jacks are a mod-power-pop sundae, slathered in a rich syrup of 60's British Invasion sounds, sprinkled with fuzzy garage-punk riffs, and topped off with juicy melodies so catchy you'll swear you've heard them before (but you haven't). Bon appetit! Oakland-based frontman Aaron Burnham assembled his group of merry minstrels to pick up where THE MAKES NICE left off. Using fresh melodic songwriting to breathe new life into classic Power Pop, '60s British Invasion, and the latest Garage sounds, THE SAUCY JACKS pump out pop gems that'll have you cranking up your stereo till the volume knob rockets off. Like THE BLACK LIPS and THE EXPLODING HEARTS, THE SAUCY JACKS use vintage influences as a springboard to catapult rock 'n' roll further into the new millenium.
