Teresa Williams

Teresa Williams grew up immersed in the sounds of the epicenter of roots music working in the fields of her ancestors’ 7th generation cotton farm, in W. Tennessee. When she moved to NYC, she joined Southern Comfort, and later Swing Fever. Teresa created the role of Sara Carter, the lead singer of The Original Carter Family, for the stage and for the BBC and PBS. She’s sung with Bonnie Bramlett, Buddy Miller, and Emmylou Harris, Little Feat and Hot Tuna (STEADY AS SHE GOES.) She has toured as a member of Phil Lesh and Friends and has been featured with Further, Lesh and Bob Weir’s post-Grateful Dead projects. She and producer/multi-instrumentalist, Larry Campbell, work as a duo. Both are members of the Levon Helm Band. Teresa appears on Helm’s Grammy winning cds, DIRT FARMER, ELECTRIC DIRT and RAMBLE AT THE RYMAN. She can be seen Saturday nights at Helm’s famed Midnight Rambles in Woodstock, NY.

Goodmorning Valentine's Joey Beltram sings a little like Chris Isaak and writes a lot like Jackson Browne. And if he can continue to do it with some regularity, Northeast Ohio can boast a major new talent.
