Doors & DJ Set from DJ Bembona at 7PM

A frequent guest vocalist in the hip-hop, jazz and soul world with the likes of Chance The Rapper, Macklemore and Noname, Jamila Woods has emerged as a powerful, once-in-a-generation soul and R&B singer-songwriter and poet with her debut solo album HEAVN. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, her music is the best representation of Jamila herself: strong in her roots, confident in her ideas, and attuned to the people, places, and things shaping her world.

Opening is Jazze Belle, the Harlem-based group headed by producer/instrumentalist Jett Carter and singer/songwriter Taylor Simone. The two bring a sound of jazzy vocals and edgy production, blurring genre lines in the process.
