Azul Otra Vez (Blue, Revisited) (work-in-progress) is a musical adaption of Ruben Dario’s poetry and short stories that combines the author’s main characters into one tale about a king who selects entertainers to live and work on his land. When a poet arrives, he introduces the king and his people to the power of words and stories. The book and lyrics are in Spanish with simultaneous English translation, and the score is a Latin jazz and folklore fusion.
