“Swirling, mist-covered folk that reaches into the great divide and assures everything will be all right.” -Eugene Weekly
Caitlin Jemma is a small-town girl with a big country heart. Raised in the high desert of Northern Nevada, her songwriting is influenced by a sense of adventure, reverie, and discovery. With a sound that is tempered by country and delivered with soul, Caitlin Jemma brings a wholesome and enlivened energy to storytelling folk. Through the many winding roads with nothing left to lose, Caitlin Jemma’s songwriting reflects on what it means to is be brave and keep it moving…while serving love, straight up. Her songs are love notes which offer hope, uplift, and encourage you to be your baddest self and pursue magic. Jemma’s sweet and salty twang has earned comparisons to a young Iris Dement, with echoes of Valerie June and Bobbie Gentry.
Whether performing solo or with her band, The Goodness, Jemma’s dynamic sound, timeless songwriting, & playful stage presence is captivating audiences everywhere from her Pacific Northwest home to Europe. Playing on average 150 shows annually, Caitlin Jemma has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists including: Eilen Jewell, Willie Watson, Peter Rowan, John Craigie, Rainbow Girls, The Brothers Comatose, Shook Twins, The Way Down Wanderers, and many more.
