Watch & Listen
Kristen Buckels is comedian, writer and producer based in Brooklyn. She is the co-creator with Lacey Jeka of the web series Between Two Bushes that launches this summer. Kristen has most recently produced work for Chris Gethard, Colin Quinn, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj, Neal Brennan and Mike Birbiglia in live theater and television. You can find her doing stand up throughout the city or making pros/cons lists over daily tasks at your local coffee shop. Photo cred. David Bluvband
Lacey Jeka (The Chris Gethard Show, Reductress, The Annoyance) has just come off a run of "Tween Twin Detectives". She has been on TV in nothing you have seen. You can catch her performing in tiny basements around the city and using fitting rooms to just sit for a little on her phone and look at herself in the mirror for a few minutes. Lacey is a known witch.
Aparna Nancherla is by and large a comedian, or by and small rather. She has written for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and Late Night with Seth Meyers. You may have caught her standup on Conan and the Comedy Central Half Hour, her face on Master of None and Crashing, and her voice on Bojack Horseman. She was recently named one of Rolling Stone's "50 Funniest People Right Now" and you can see her in 2018 on the upcoming show Corporate on Comedy Central and the new season of Netflix's The Standups.
Originally from Colorado, Dan Soder started doing stand up at 21 while attending the University of Arizona. After two years of playing clubs and casinos all over the southwest, Dan decided he'd had enough of extreme heat and venomous animals, so he moved to New York. Dan has been featured on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, Conan, and appeared on Opie and Anthony. This year, you can see him on Comedy Central's The Half Hour and see his commentary as a cast member on MTV2's Guy Code.
Will Miles is a comedian and a Chicago native. Having toured for years with names like Hannibal Buress, Eric Andre, and Jerrod Carmichael, he now co-hosts the popular weekly show at The Knitting Factory in New York and co-hosts the popular podcast "Hopefully We Don't Break Up with fellow comedian, Giulia Rozzi. He has been in Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and New York Comedy Festival, and his debut stand up comedy album is coming out in 2016 on the Comedy Dynamics label. Will has been in a couple of national commercials and played characters on truTV, Fusion, MTV, and other cable networks. He is currently working as a writer on season 2 of The Chris Gethard Show on Fusion. Photo by Mindy Tucker.
