Having grown up in Westchester County, just North of NYC, Talay has been playing iconic New York venues like The Bitter End and The Knitting Factory since she was 16. In 2014 she graduated from The University of Miami’s Frost School of Music where she studied Songwriting and Guitar.
Since returning to New York, Talay has become a sought-after session musician, lending her skills on guitar, bass, and backing vocals to various NY-based acts including the all-female Guns N’ Roses tribute, Guns N’ Hoses. Making use of this session work to enhance her own project, Talay plays regularly throughout NYC at venues such as The Studio at Webster Hall and Rockwood Music Hall –as well as cities all along the East Coast from Philly to Miami. She fronts a simple but formidable power trio and wins consistent praise for her clever lyrics, exciting guitar work, and infectious onstage personality.
