I Hate You Just Kidding
Jeremy and Jessi Brock are the husband & wife songwriting duo known as I Hate You Just Kidding. They started making music together shortly after meeting in 2009. Beginning as acoustic folk pop, the music has evolved over the years into a refreshing style that rests somewhere between dream pop, indie rock, and shoegaze.
I Hate You Just Kidding has had their music featured regularly in film/television and commercials, and toured nationally, leaving two EPs and one full-length album in their wake.
Upon releasing their debut "Days Grow Longer" in 2011, I Hate You Just Kidding began writing a follow up. However, the touring life sometimes takes a few detours. After a 5 year hiatus, the sophomore album "Constellations" is complete. The new record shows a maturity while retaining the duo’s distinctive chemistry and melancholy charm.
"Constellations" is comprised of 9 tracks written while touring the US in 2011/2012. The songs were recorded in late 2016 at The Music Box Studios in Downtown Fullerton, California and co-produced, engineered & mixed by Jonathan O'Brien. Kevin Manwarren and Roxy Radulescu (of TUFT) and Greg Anderson (of Fellow Bohemian) join the band on the album and onstage.
My Double My Brother
My Double, My Brother is an alternative indie band based in Southern California. The members met through their university's music program during their early years of college and began playing music together through their school's music department and school chapels. After a couple of years, shifts in direction, and member changes, My Double, My Brother began working on their first full-length album, entitled "What We Found Beneath the Ground," and released it in March of 2011. The band continues to tour and write music.
‘Two Hannahs’ is the musical collaboration of old friends and creative powerhouses Hannah Leigh and Jesse Daniel Edwards (whose mother was set to name him Hannah, had he been born a girl). The pair met at a small summer camp music program in the mountains of California in 2011 where they worked on various projects over the next 5 summers. Both are gifted writers, vocalists, and performers.
Hannah Leigh was raised in Moraga, until she moved to Los Angeles in 2001. Apart from discovering music at a young age, Hannah has also appeared onscreen alongside the likes of Ellen Page, James Franco and John C. Reilly. Her film credits include Mad Men, Bones, and Gilmore Girls. At 16 years old, Hannah graduated with an AA in Social and Behavioral Sciences and is continuing her education for her BA in Film and Television at UC Santa Barbara. When Hannah isn't acting, writing, and singing she also specializes in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance performance.
Jesse Daniel Edwards is an award-winning independent songwriter hailing from the small mountain town of Cuyamaca, CA and currently residing in East Nashville. He spent seven years on the road with The Smart Brothers, releasing 5 recordings and performing with Jason Mraz, First Aid Kit, and John Prine. Known for his passionate vocals and smart lyrics, JDE’s sound is infused with rock, pop, and a touch of soul. A recent review described him as, “a songwriter and storyteller for a new generation of folk fans.” (SD Reader 2016). His music has been featured in radio, TV, Netflix, and two independent films and is available on Apple Music, Pandora, and Spotify.
