Nick Fowler is a graduate of Cornell University and a New York Times-acclaimed novelist who has appeared on The Tonight Show and in The Sopranos, and has toured in support of Bon Jovi and Paul Rodgers.
Josh Bryan is a graduate of The University of North Texas who has toured/recorded with Harry Belafonte, Wilson Pickett, Queen Latifah, and Kenny Latimore to name a few. Has also played or backed up artists such as Legendary Ray Brown, Paquito Rivera and Norah Jones. Broadway Credits include from most recent Broadway shows: Lion King, Bring It On , Hair, In The Heights, Jersey Boys, Hairspray.
Together they are The Crush, combining crafty songwriting, thought-provoking lyrics and harmony-rich vocals.
Maria Ellis is an alluring pop singer, songwriter and multifaceted musician from Long Island, New York.
Beginning her music industry career at just twelve years old, Maria has been a poignant songwriter and performer from the very beginning. From inception, Maria's first ever demos stirred major interest with hit-making producers in the pop community.
After writing over 250 songs by the age of 17, Maria began working with Grammy award winning producer Gary Katz in the studio, honing her craft and learning the ropes from a consummate master producer.
Later that year, Maria began her professional performance career. She started by performing throughout the New York area in multiple local venues and finished the year by being the solo opening act for living guitar legend Rick Derringer at The Suffolk Theater to huge audience acclaim.
Maria started her journey in the world of YouTube. Her first ever original live video for "For The First Time" garnered over 100,000 views within weeks. Maria continued honing her craft by attending the famed Berklee College Of Music in Boston, where the likes of John Mayer, Charlie Puth, Melissa Ethridge, Quincy Jones, the band Imagine Dragons among many others.
Maria was inspired to write and compose more music than ever, writing almost 70 songs during her freshman year. Maria then continued to put out her first ever EP "Girls" on social media platform SoundCloud which acquired thousands of plays in the first month.
Maria then turned her attention to hand picking her backup band, consisting of renowned musicians Ryan Parrino (electric guitar), Tony Tino (bass), Kevin Bregande (drums), and Dave Archer (keyboards).
Maria's live set performance is a full on ride, consisting of her self-written fan favorites such as "Care For Me", "Yours Forever" and "Girls Like Me" mixed with an occasional uniquely delivered R&B cover.
Maria's music fuses pop, modern R/B, with an edge. Her powerful vocals and honest lyrics connect to audiences of all ages, backgrounds and tastes. Maria's message is to live life as authentically and as unapologetically as possible. The twenty-year-old phenomenon recently put out her first single called "When I'm Leaving You". This release showcased Maria's authenticity and originality, representing one of Maria's definitive musical statements to date and examining the dynamics of an on again off again relationship, very familiar to many of Maria's existing and new fans.
Maria continues to break ground, writing new incredibly fresh new songs and performing to universal acclaim by ever greater audiences. Maria is set to record new music as she rises to the next chapter in her boundless up and coming career.
