HOME SICK FESTIVAL 2018
A festival at the Phoenix Theater featuring:
Hardcore punk band from Rohnert Park, California,, USA.
Power Trip are a crossover thrash metal band from Dallas, Texas. Their sound -- an inseparable mix of hardcore punk, speed, and death metal -- was informed by the sounds of the Cro-Mags, Vio-Lence, Nuclear Assault, and Leeway, and draws fans from across the extreme music spectrum.
The band began as a five-piece in Dallas, Texas in 2008. Their initial lineup consisted of bassist Chris Whetzel, drummer Marcus, vocalist Riley Gale, and guitarists Blake "Rossover" Ibanez, and Nicky "Thrasher" Stewart. They released a collection of five demos that same year. In 2009 Marcus left and was eventually replaced by veteran Chris Ulsh (Hatred Surge, Mammoth Grinder, the Impalers). They released a four-song EP entitled Armageddon Blues. They also began touring, first throughout Texas, then the Southwest and California, and then nationally. Usually, in addition to the band and their gear, an extended voluntary entourage would travel with them -- often in the same van -- to help with hauling gear, working the merchandise table and the box office, etc. After non-stop touring for nearly a year, and a well-deserved break (in which Ibanez went away to school), Power Trip recorded a self-titled three-song EP, which was released in 2011, before more touring, including an appearance at the 2012 Pitchfork Music Festival.
Manifest Decimation In 2013, PT signed with Southern Lord, and made a splash with their showcase at SXSW. They commenced recording their debut full-length with veteran producer and mixing engineer Arthur Rizik. The album was released in June of that year as Manifest Decimation, with a sleeve design by legendary heavy metal artist Paolo Girardi.
American post-hardcore band from Los Angeles, California, United States.
Black Marble are a post punk group from NYC.
A shoegaze/drone project started by Kristina Esfandiari.

Hardcore-punk band from California, USA.
Screature lumbers along its own shadowy path, a chimera stitched together from post-punk, '67-era garage psych and early goth. Themes of the paranormal and life gone seriously awry permeate the songs. There are no happy endings- just endings.
Formed by four friends in the summer of 2011, Screature is a dark psych band based in Sacramento, California. Screature's self-titled debut was recorded and mixed by Chris Woodhouse and released on the band's own imprint, Ethel Scull Records in April 2013. Their second album, Four Columns was produced by Chris Woodhouse and released on Ethel Scull/Ss Records in July 2015.
WINE COUNTRY'S FINEST FREAK PUNK
Oakland, CA trio Super Unison features Meghan O’Neil Pennie (formerly of PUNCH) on bass and vocals, Justin Renninger (formerly of Snowing) on drums, and Kevin DeFranco on guitar. Formed in 2014, they released a self-titled EP on vinyl and cassette formats soon after. The EP was incredibly well-received and praised by publications far and wide, from Rolling Stone to Brooklyn Vegan. The band toured the western portion of the USA following the EP’s release, which included shows with Shook Ones, Self Defense Family, Coliseum, Dogs on Acid and more. As veterans of the Bay Area scene and beyond, Super Unison have become known for their incendiary live show in their relatively short time as a band thus far.
