American comic Orny Adams has been touring all over the world for over twenty years. With hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, Orny is regarded by his peers as one of the hardest working and passionate comedians in the business. Orny first rose to international prominence after Jerry Seinfeld chose him to co-star in his documentary “Comedian.” He has made several appearances on The Tonight Show and appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman. Orny’s debut DVD “Path Of Most Resistance,” was critically acclaimed and was available on Netflix. That was followed by a powerful and poignant one hour special “Orny Adams Takes The Third” which aired on Comedy Central and Netflix. Currently, and for the past six seasons, Orny can be seen playing the iconic role “Coach Finstock” on the hit MTV show “Teen Wolf,” a one hour drama created by Criminal Mind’s Jeff Davis. Jeff handpicked Orny for the role after seeing him perform at the Hollywood Improv.
Early in his career Orny was named in The Hollywood Reporter as a favourite comedian to watch. He has written jokes for Jay Leno, Garry Shandling, and many other top comedians. He has twice written for the Annual Emmys Broadcast and has become the “go to” guy when a celebrity needs a funny line. In July 2000, Orny made quite an impact at the Montreal Comedy Festival, which resulted in a development deal with Warner Brothers Studio, and his appearance on Letterman. In 2010, Orny was thrilled to return to the festival in Montreal working alongside one of his favourite comedians Steve Martin on a taped televised stand up show Martin hosted. Orny garnered rave reviews for his performance and was called a “Stand-out act” by The Hollywood Reporter.
Edmonton's Tyler Hawkins is a rising star in the comedy world. His hilarious takes on sexy coffee shops, bodyguard goldfish and dancing with his buddies have entertained audiences all across North America.
Hawkins' irreverent act won him the Homegrown Comedy Competition at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, and earned him his own national special on the Comedy Network and CTV.
He has been featured on national radio and shared the stage with comedy greats including Norm MacDonald, Bobcat Goldwait and Rich Hall.
Hawkins is from Edmonton but has performed everywhere from Boston to Seattle to the Sunset Strip, and has left a roar of laughter in his wake. Tyler has graced such stages as The Comedy Store, The Imrov and The Comedy Underground in Seattle.
Ali Yusuf from The Nugget writes "…Hawkins dictates relatable comedy, which is a trait most comedians lack these days."
