Handsomebeast — yes, one word — is a five piece band based out of Houston, TX. They are the founders of an irresistible genre dubbed by the pioneers themselves as space-rock-bump-n-grind, which incorporates elements of classic and indie rock with futuristic electrofunk and infectious pop. Handsomebeast’s volcanic live performances quickly commanded the attention of the Houston music scene as they have become one of the hottest bands in the city. With one EP (2015’s Sexy Face Reaction Time) and one album (2014’s Estilo Gacho) out, and another album on the way for 2016, Handsomebeast is poised to take the nation by storm.
Vacation Manor is a four-piece indie rock band based out of Nashville, TN consisting of Nathan Towles (guitar, vocals), Dane Spearman (bass), Cole Young (drums), and Carson Cody (keys). The band formed in the fall of 2014 after meeting at a music festival in Lynchburg, VA while two of the members were attending college.
The group released their debut EP Girl, Say in March of 2016 which has since received over 3.5 million streams on Spotify in addition to being picked up on playlists in stores such as Starbucks, Gap, Banana Republic, and more. The group has headlined shows across the eastern US and opened for acts such as Dawes, The Lone Bellow, Colony House, Dave Barnes, and many more.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign in the spring of 2018, the band headed out to Joshua Tree, CA to record their followup record, Everything I Can't Say Out Loud, with producer Charlie Stavish (Ryan Adams, Imagine Dragons, The Wombats, Foster the People).
Washington, DC's Sub-Radio makes smart, danceable pop rock that's always expanding its boundaries. The sextet's high-energy live performances and variety of outstanding vocalists have put them on the map up and down the East Coast. The band’s clean guitars, dancefloor rhythms, and powerful vocals have garnered comparisons to established pop-rock acts like Walk The Moon and Two Door Cinema Club. Multiple songs have been recognized in national songwriting competitions, and Sub-Radio has gigged heavily across the region, playing at the Cherry Blossom Festival, LAUNCH, Celebrate Fairfax, Dewey Beach Music Conference, and Firefly Music Festival.
Following the success of their 2016 debut Same Train//Different Station, the band embarked on an ongoing series of monthly singles in April 2017. Sub-Radio is composed of Adam Bradley (vocals), Matt Prodanovich (guitar), Mike Chinen (guitar/keyboards), John Fengya (guitar/keyboards), Michael Pereira (drums), and Barry Siford (bass).
