Billy Gardell stars as a working-class Chicago cop in the hit CBS comedy, Mike & Molly (airing Mondays at 9:30pm). In its sophomore season, Mike & Molly garners over 12 million
weekly viewers and was voted as the number one new series of 2011.

His stand-up show is a powerhouse and has appeared on Comedy Central numerous
times, with his latest special Halftime airing in 2011 to rave reviews. He's opened for George
Carlin, and has also appeared on the Chelsea Lately roundtable. His first comedy album, Billy
Gardell: Throwback released in 2006. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong
chord with American audiences. Stories about his rough childhood, wild adolescence and new
family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman.

Gardell, a Pittsburgh native, took the long road to Hollywood, stopping at every small
town lounge, military base and comedy club along the way. His comedy act took him to Los
Angeles where his dedication to acting, along with touring as a stand-up comedian, allowed him
to grow consistently in both arenas. He made his major motion picture debut in the 2002 film,
Avenging Angelo, and has also appeared in Bad Santa, You, Me and Dupree, and The Deported.

He has appeared in the critically acclaimed series Lucky, and other television credits include Yes
Dear, Judging Amy, My Name is Earl, The Practice, Monk, and Gary the Rat
