Buscabulla is the Spanish language experimental pop project of Raquel Berrios and Luis del Valle. They released their first self-titled EP produced by Dev Hynes of Blood Orange in 2014 through Kitsuné Musique. Their 2016 follow-up ep will be released in January 2017. Born and raised in Puerto Rico but based in NYC, they create a hybrid they call the Caribbean music of the future.
Brooklyn-based electronic indie band Balún is Angélica Negrón, Noraliz Ruiz, José Olivares, and Raul Reymundi. After breaking out of the Puerto Rican indie scene a decade ago with 2006’s Something Comes Our Way, the band relocated to New York to pursue a far ranging array of musical projects, academic pursuits, and self releases. These influences all converge on Balún’s highly anticipated new LP Prisma Tropical, coming in early 2018 on Good Child Music.
NOIA is the solo project of Gisela FullĂ , a barcelonaut based in brooklyn. The project flirts with dream wave/experimental r'n'b/foley sounds.
NOIA speaks about the search for ithacas while you get distracted by an american pop tune on the radio.
NOIA is about throwing tunes to the ocean of the grid from the laptop of your room.
Gisela will be joined on stage by Jorn Belfieldt and Francisco ValentĂn.
Stay tuned for the digital debut EP release this March 2014 through EgyptianMaraccas.
