Whose Hat Is This?
For the first time ever, Whose Hat Is This?, the electrifying acid jazz collective of current Tedeschi Trucks Band members bassist Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie), saxophonist Kebbi Williams (Outkast), and drummers JJ Johnson (John Mayer) and Tyler "Falcon" Greenwell (Col. Bruce Hampton), will be hitting the road for an East Coast US tour in December 2017. The announcement comes after the group played two sold--out nights in New York City at the legendary 55 Bar earlier in October, and the trek will be starting in New York City and hitting cities all the way down to the Atlanta--metro area (all dates below). Don't miss out on this special tour!
About Whose Hat This Is?:
With their electrifying, all--improvised sets, Whose Hat is This? are a group that embodies unhinged musical spontaneity. The collective of current Tedeschi Trucks Band members bassist Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie), saxophonist Kebbi Williams (Outkast), and drummers JJ Johnson (John Mayer) and Tyler "Falcon" Greenwell (Col. Bruce Hampton) seamlessly conjure up whirling music that combines elements of experimental jazz, funk, electronica, and just about everything in--between. The group’s debut self--titled record released in April 2017 captures their sheer energy and potent musicianship that make each of their performances like nothing you have experienced before.
