Fonteyn is the solo effort of Suzanne May (previously of Dark Furs).
British born Suzanne has blended her deep love of the Major 7th chord, with the musicality and expression of her Musical Theatre beginnings to darker new wave and rock influences. The result is Fonteyn a colourful soundscape of idiosyncrasies.

The Death of Politics
The Death of Politics makes music that’s real and unscripted. It's all part and parcel of the band’s fearless, live venue quality. The Death of Politics is a free-flowing mix of four part harmonies, sonic guitar lines and atmospheric synthesizers that give the music its vitality. More alternative / psychedelic rock , there is a vibe throughout the music that feels raw and new. The DOP isn’t homage to anything that came before but adapts forms to create musical language that feels original yet familiar.
