Decibel Magazine Tour 2018: Enslaved

Formed: June 1991, Haugesund, Norway.

Progressive black metal band formed by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson. Enslaved are typically identified as viking metal. Their current sound (although characteristic of black metal) is very much influenced by the British progressive rock bands of the 1970s.

Wolves in the Throne Room is an American black metal band formed in 2003 in Olympia, Washington. The main members of Wolves in the Throne Room are brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver.

Envisioned and realized by classically-trained multi-instrumentalist songwriter Amalie Bruun, Denmark's Myrkur combines the rawness of second-wave black metal bands like Ulver and Darkthrone with a natural, ethereal sonic beauty.

Slow, loud, heavy -- this is Khemmis, a doomed heavy metal quartet from Denver, Colorado.
