Called "Some of Today's best folk/Americana" by Elmore Magazine, Brooklyn-based Bellehouse's influence draws from Old Time and folk revival while pulling from a broad host of other genres, including Celtic trad, classic rock, soul and Motown, Balkan choir and beyond. The resulting synergy walks the line between down-home roots music and intellectual folk-rock. The three front women, Jessica Taylor Clinton, Sarah Elizabeth Haines, and Mackenzie Shivers, all share the songwriting responsibilities for the group, creating a fresh and harmony-rich voice in the indie-folk community.
For You the Moon
For You The Moon is an indie pop collaboration between Cathryn Wake and Neil Reynolds that fuses synths, acoustic instruments, and electronic beats. Wake and Reynolds trade vocals and instruments, welding together a sound sparked by the genre-bending melodrama of Panic! at the Disco, Kimbra's eclecticism, and CHVRCHES' unapologetic 80's cheer. Their debut album, Never Let Your Heart Get Hard was released in September 2017 and is available to stream and download from most digital music sellers.
