"A crystalline voice of unique timbre and emotional intelligence..." - Alain Brunet, La Presse
Depending on when you walk in on a song, Emma Frank's music might sound like folk or jazz, even R&B. It's music that never stays put, full of shifting tempos and winding melodies framed by her rich, gossamer voice and insightful lyrics. Emma moved to New York nine months ago from Montreal where she released two critically acclaimed albums, For Being Apart (2014) andThe People We're Becoming (2015). She is now working on a third album of songs with Aaron Parks (piano), Jim Black (drums), Rick Rosato (bass) and Franky Rousseau (guitar).
