Paul McDonald

Paul McDonald

With "Modern Hearts", Paul McDonald brings a new flavor of alternative rock with southern swagger. An album delivered by a fiery lead vocal and self-penned lyrical prose that brings emotional depth to hooks and honest songwriting.

An Alabama-born and East Nashville-based artist, Paul McDonald has been a veteran of the music scene for a little over 10 years. Paul's unique style of music has garnered international attention leading to major tours and performances around the world with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Zac Brown, Father John Misty, etc. and has independently played festivals such as Bonnaroo, SXSW, Hangout Festival, etc. Appearances on television shows include The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, and Live With Kelly. After years of touring and recording music independently, releasing multiple albums and EP's with different bands, he's launching his first ever solo endeavor. Over the past 3 years Paul has spent writing hundreds of songs and perfecting his own sound. He's finally found his own creative voice with his first full-length solo album “Modern Hearts" - produced by Jordan Lehning (Rodney Crowell, Andrew Combs) and recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC (Band Of Horses, Avett Brothers) and Sound Emporium Studios (Jason Isbell, Alabama Shakes) in Nashville, TN.

"You'll always know who Paul McDonald is, out of a million singers you'll know him. That's so rare. It's such a gift" - Jimmy Iovine

Ryan Harris Brown

Nashville based singer/songwriter, Ryan Harris Brown, uses his love of intimate storytelling and his expert, classic musicianship, to create songs that are both thought provoking and unforgettable. Influenced by songwriters such as John Mayer, Ben Folds, and James Taylor, Ryan strives to take his listeners on a journey of his own self-discovery, growth, love, and adventure, while inviting listeners to reflect on their own along side him.

After the release of his EP, Wave Goodbye, Wave Hello in 2013, Ryan was busy touring and sharing his music across the country. He continued writing, wanting to build off of, what he considers WGWH to be, a personal introduction and a collection of songs about acceptance and progression.

Furthering his examination of time and personal development, Ryanʼs debut full length album, Stranded in The Present Tense, (Spring 2017) chronicles the next chapter of his life. The recording of this album was delayed by almost a year, as Ryan dealt with severe medical concerns, which kept him in and out of the hospital. Ryan celebrated his recovery by returning to studios in both Portland, OR, and Nashville, TN, in 2016 to create the album. Featuring acclaimed artists and musicians such as 2017 Grammy nominated, Sierra Hull (Best Folk Album of the year), Nir Z (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Geneses), and David LaBruyere (John Mayer), and co-produced with Gus Berry, a fellow Berklee graduate, this album continues to showcase Ryanʼs guitar vocabulary and relatable songwriting.

With health complications behind him, Ryan is looking forward to sharing this new release with people across the country. In this words of his single, “Begin,” “As one thing ends, something new begins.”
